The future of Moroccan international Bilal Nadir with Olympique Marseille is approaching uncertainty as the summer transfer window is just weeks away, with no agreement reached to renew his contract, which expires next June. This opens the door for him to leave for free at the end of the season.

Nadir joined Marseille in the summer of 2023 from the Nice Academy, amid high hopes that he would be one of the promising talents within the team. He made an impressive start that caught the attention of fans at the 'Vélodrome' stadium before suffering a severe knee injury that significantly affected his career.

The 2025-2026 season saw a noticeable decline in the player's role within the team, with reduced participation under both coach Roberto De Zerbi and current coach Habib Beye. Nadir participated in 19 French league matches totaling only 557 minutes, during which he made four assists without scoring or making a significant direct impact.

The player also missed several recent matches, most notably against Lyon, Auxerre, and Toulouse, and has not appeared in official matches since the end of last February, which enhances the possibility of his departure at the end of the season.
