Press reports have revealed Barcelona's plan for the upcoming summer transfer market, where the club aims to secure three new signings in addition to confirming the continuation of Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo, as part of the team's rebuilding project.

At the top of the desired forwards list is the Argentine Julian Alvarez, who is considered the first choice to strengthen the center-forward position, despite the difficulty of negotiations with Atletico Madrid, given their hold on the player and his high market value, which could reach around 100 million euros.

According to the Catalan newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo', the Catalan club is considering several alternatives if the Alvarez deal fails, most notably Nigerian Victor Osimhen, Serbian Dusan Vlahovic, and Danish Alexander Sorloth as a less expensive option.

In defense, the Catalan club places Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni as a primary target, with reports indicating that the player is enthusiastic about the idea of moving to Barcelona and is ready to facilitate the deal from his side, with positive ongoing talks with the sports management.

On the level of attacking wings, Englishman Marcus Rashford remains one of the most prominent names considered, as the club discusses the financial feasibility of the deal, especially since its annual cost could be high.

Simultaneously, Barcelona is studying a group of young names to strengthen the wing, including Spaniard Victor Munoz of Osasuna, Norwegian talent Andreas Schjelderup of Benfica, and Spaniard Jan Verjil of Mallorca.

Moroccan Abdessamad Ezzalzouli remains among the options considered, as Barcelona retains the right to a buy-back and a percentage of any future sale, while also monitoring the status of several of its former and current players like Marc Casado, with the possibility of exchange or loan moves to facilitate upcoming deals.

As for the Cancelo file, it is still linked to the financial aspect, with the purchase option valued at around 15 million euros, while Barcelona wishes to acquire him for free or on loan again, whereas Al Hilal seeks to benefit financially, with potential interest in Barcelona players like Casado.
