The media personality Khaled El-Ghandour revealed that Al-Ahly's management has begun taking steps to terminate the contract of the team's coach, Jes Torup, due to the recent decline in results.

Khaled Al-Ghandour reported on his program "Stad Al-Mehwar" that Al-Ahly's management is seeking to terminate Torop's contract amicably before the new season. They have started communicating with his lawyer to present an offer worth $1.3 million, to be paid in installments, to end the contract amicably.

Ghandour mentioned that the coach is entitled to the full value of his contract if he leaves now, so the management is currently trying to negotiate to reduce the financial cost and avoid paying the full amount.

Al Ahly is preparing to face Pyramids on Monday, April 27th, in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League title decider stage.

Al Ahly currently holds the third position in the league championship group standings with 44 points.
