Al-Ahly Club has settled the ongoing debate regarding the future of football director Walid Salah El-Din, confirming that the rumors about his resignation are unfounded.

The club clarified that these reports are completely lacking in credibility and do not reflect the reality within the team, ahead of the crucial stage of the Premier League championship.

Al Ahly is preparing to play its first match in the championship group against Ceramica Cleopatra tomorrow, Tuesday, as part of a series of strong encounters awaiting them against Zamalek, Pyramids, Smouha, Enppi, and Al Masry.

The team is striving to regain its balance and achieve positive results during this phase, amidst the strong competition for the league title, treating the remaining matches as decisive encounters that do not tolerate losing points.

In a related context, the main referees committee announced the appointment of a refereeing team led by Mahmoud Wafa to officiate the match between Al Ahly and Ceramica Cleopatra. He will be assisted by Mohamed Magdy Suleiman and Youssef El Basaty, with Mahmoud Roshdy as the fourth official. Mahmoud Ashour will take on the role of video assistant referee, with Hisham El Kady assisting him.

Al-Ahly enters this stage with the slogan of winning only, in order to maintain its chances of clinching the Premier League title.
