Monday 06-04-2026
The media personality Ibrahim Abdel Jawad confirmed that Al Ahly is negotiating with a top player to compensate for the departure of the Malian Aliou Dieng from the red team.

Ibrahim Abdel Jawad stated on Facebook: "Al Ahly is negotiating with Jordan Mendes, 22 years old, from Cape Verde, to compensate for the departure of Aliou Dieng."

Jordan Mendes plays for Rodez AF, which is one of the clubs in the French second division league.

Mendez participated in 28 matches with Rhodes AF this season across various competitions, during which he provided only two assists.

All negotiations for contract renewal between Al Ahly and Dieng, which lasted for a long time, failed as the player decided to leave the Red team and pursue a professional experience in Europe.
