Barcelona club announced that it has reached an agreement with young Dutch forward Shane Kluivert to renew his contract until June 30, 2028, in a move that reflects the club's great confidence in his talent and his continuity with the future project.

The contract was signed at the sports city in the presence of several officials from the training sector.

Shane, the son of the famous star Patrick Kluivert, is considered one of the most promising talents at the "La Masia" academy. He is distinguished by his offensive flexibility and ability to play as a winger on both flanks or as a central striker, making him a versatile asset on the field.

The player joined Barcelona in 2017 from Paris Saint-Germain and continued his development through various age groups, becoming part of the remarkable generation born in 2007.

He also contributed to achieving a treble with the youth team last season and continued this season to deliver strong performances that made him one of the key players.

In terms of statistics, the player participated with the youth team in several local and continental tournaments, scoring impactful goals.
