Al-Khatib's Meeting with the Services Company to Discuss Al-Ahly's Profits and Sports Development Plans
Captain Mahmoud El Khatib, the president of Al Ahly Club, held an extended meeting today with the board of directors of Al Ahly Sports Services Company, chaired by Mohamed Manar, to discuss the latest developments and future plans.
The meeting included a review of the company's financial statements as the fiscal year draws to a close, with results confirming that the company achieved remarkable profits this year. The company's management highlighted the expansion of its activities to provide services not only to the club's sports teams within Egypt but also abroad, in addition to collaborating with other institutions in the field of sports, contributing to increased revenues.
The company's board of directors also presented its plans to develop the services offered to club members and the international sports community, including organizing continental competitions in various sports, as well as providing tourism services by owning the majority share in a tourism company, which serves the interests of the club's members, fans, and sports teams.
In the sports context, the Danish head coach of the Al-Ahly team, Jes Thorup, decided to give the players a temporary break from group training before resuming preparations for the Premier League competitions. Al-Ahly is participating in the group competing for the league title in the second phase of the competition, which is scheduled to start its matches this April, with the participation of the top seven teams in the league standings.
