Essam El-Hadary Reveals the Reason for Al Ahly's Problems
Essam El-Hadary, the former Al Ahly star, revealed the reason behind the problems the Reds have been facing recently.
Essam El-Hadary said in a television statement: "There are many problems in Al Ahly's dressing room. The new signings might be big names, but they may not fit the character of Al Ahly."
He continued: "The large differences in players' salaries have caused a crisis in the locker room. Any player would be upset if a new player is earning four times more than them."
Al Ahly currently holds the third position in the league standings with 40 points.
Al-Ahmar was eliminated from three tournaments this season: the Egypt Cup, the Cairo Cup, and the African Champions League.
