Shobeir: Torop Wanted Gradyshar to Continue
The media personality Ahmed Shobeir confirmed that Al-Ahly coach Yis Torup wanted to keep Gradishar unless a strong striker was signed.
In a radio statement, Shobeir said: "Toreup confirmed that his desire was to sign a strong defender and attacker, even postponing the signing of Youssef Belamri."
He continued: "Torop was keen on Gradishar, but Al-Ahly's management signed Kamwish and informed him of the departure of the Slovenian striker."
Shobeir continued: "Achraf Dari was in the coach's plans, but not with strong insistence if the management saw him as a pressure on them. As for the left-back position, he wanted Koka and Shoukry to continue."
He concluded: "Al-Ahly informed Torop about the new signings and the departures without his intervention, which is what he told them in the last meeting."
