According to the Catalan newspaper "Sport," the Italian defender is highly admired by the sports management of the Catalan club, led by Deco, who sees his ability to build play from the back and his passing accuracy as ideal elements that fit Barcelona's style.

The club's management considers Bastoni a key defender for the future, capable of leading the team's defense for many years, potentially extending to a full decade.

The report indicated that the deal's value could reach around 60 million euros, while the Catalan club rules out including any player from the team in the deal, especially with the club's financial situation improving.

It is worth noting that Bastoni, who is 26 years old, is under contract with Inter Milan until the summer of 2028.
