German Hans Flick, the coach of Barcelona, spoke after the big win over Newcastle United with a score of 7-2 in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16, expressing his satisfaction with the improved performance in the second half despite some difficulties at the start.

Barcelona hosted the English counterpart at Camp Nou, achieving a significant victory that led the team to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals to face the winner of the Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur match.

Flick said in his post-match statements: "In the first half, we played direct offensive balls excessively and lost a lot of balls."

He continued: "This opponent has great speed and is good at playing in transitions, and we talked during the break about the need for more control in the second half and playing better against the defensive block."

The Catalan club's coach added: "It was a crazy match, I think we were not at our best in the first half, but in the second half, we were much better, we managed to control the ball, and the third goal gave us the opportunity to re-enter the game well."
