Ben Sharqi Nears Leading Al-Ahly's Attack Against Esperance
The newspaper "Youm7" reported that Ashraf Bencharki is close to continuing to lead Al Ahly's attack against Tunisian club Esperance in the Champions League.
Al Ahly will face off against their counterpart, Esperance, next Saturday in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
The newspaper explained that Torup, the Al Ahly coach, is not convinced by the current strikers on the red team's roster, as the Danish coach excludes Kamouh and Mohamed Sherif due to their failure to deliver performances that qualify them to lead Al Ahly's attack.
Marwan Othman also missed many easy opportunities, especially in the recent match against Tunisian Esperance, where he squandered more than one chance besides his incorrect positioning on the field.
