Spanish press reports have revealed the possibility of a significant move within Barcelona during the upcoming summer transfer window, concerning the future of Spanish full-back Alejandro Balde, amid the sports management's interest in strengthening the defensive line with new signings.

According to what the Italian journalist Matteo Moretto revealed, the sporting director of the Catalan club, Deco, considers the Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni, a player for Inter Milan, as a primary target in Barcelona's future plans to strengthen the defense.

Morito pointed out that Barcelona's moves in the transfer market are also linked to the administrative situation within the club, explaining that the file on signing Bastoni is part of the sports planning led by Deco.

On the other hand, Morito clarified that Alejandro Balde's future might witness a surprising development in the coming period, emphasizing that Barcelona does not consider the player as untouchable. He added that the Catalan club is ready to listen to offers for the Spanish full-back if suitable offers are received.

The journalist also pointed out that this situation resembles cases previously seen in major European clubs, noting that Baldi might leave the team if the club receives a good financial offer. He also mentioned that interest from clubs in the player is not new, as Paris Saint-Germain had inquired about his status two years ago.

Regarding the Bastoni deal, Morito revealed that the Italian defender is aware of Barcelona's interest and has not closed the door on the idea. He clarified that the player has not explicitly agreed to the move, but he views the possibility of undertaking this experience positively in the future.
