The newspaper 'Sport' highlighted the decline in the effectiveness of Barcelona's attacking duo, Ferran Torres and Robert Lewandowski, during the last phase of the season, amid the team's struggle with a decrease in scoring rate.

Barcelona lost two consecutive matches for the second time this season, after falling in October to Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 and to Sevilla 4-1, before recently suffering two new defeats to Atletico Madrid 4-0 and Girona 2-1.

According to the report, Ferran Torres and Lewandowski took only four shots on target in the last four matches, scoring one goal through the Polish striker against Mallorca. During this period, Barcelona scored six goals, distributed among Lamine Yamal 'two goals', Araujo, Marc Bernal, and Koubarsi, in addition to Lewandowski's goal.

The source also indicated that the shooting numbers reflect the extent of the decline, as neither striker shot between the posts and the crossbar against Girona, nor did Lewandowski shoot on target against Atletico Madrid, nor Ferran Torres against Mallorca.

Despite this, Ferran Torres tops Barcelona's scoring list this season with 16 goals, ahead of Lamine Yamal '15 goals', and Lewandowski and Raphinha with 13 each. The player is close to matching his best scoring numbers, having scored 19 goals last season.

However, the report clarified that Ferran's performance in the second phase of the season saw a noticeable decline, as he scored only three goals in the last 14 matches.

The report pointed out that Barcelona relies on teamwork in scoring, but it needs to regain the best version of its prominent strikers in this crucial phase of the season.
