Manchester United Monitors Former Chelsea Player
Monday 16-02-2026
Reports have indicated that Manchester United has shown interest in signing former Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling during the summer of 2026, after the player's move to Dutch club Feyenoord on a contract that runs until the end of the 2025/2026 season, according to "TEAMtalk".

Sterling's move came after his departure from Chelsea by mutual consent, where he was earning £325,000 a week, but he did not participate in any matches throughout the season.

The sources confirmed that the Feyenoord coach played a key role in convincing the player to move to the Dutch league, and that both parties will reassess the situation at the end of the season.

Sterling remains under the watch of Manchester United and Aston Villa, as the player desires to return to the Premier League. Reports have indicated that any potential deal might be discussed with fees ranging between 10 and 15 million pounds, although these figures are not confirmed, especially since the player will become a free agent at the end of the season.

It is noted that Manchester United previously tried to sign Sterling when he was a player at Chelsea, as the club held exploratory talks in an attempt to recruit him.
