The media personality Ahmed Shobeir revealed new developments regarding the fate of Ashraf Dari, the Al Ahly player, with his club.

Al Ahly is seeking to terminate its contract with the player after completing the list of foreign players, following the registration of Youssef Belamri in the last winter transfer window.

In a television statement, Shobier said that the player refuses to waive any part of his financial entitlements and insists on receiving them in full.

He added that the player informed Al-Ahly officials that he does not mind staying without participating, as long as he receives his monthly salary regularly.

Shobeir mentioned that Ashraf Dari managed to secure an offer from a European club, but the deal fell through because the club wanted Al Ahly to pay the player's full financial dues. He added that the Red administration completely rejected this condition, which further complicated the situation and put the club in a new predicament.
