Bournemouth Football Club officially announced the signing of Spanish full-back Alex Jimenez from Italian club AC Milan, with a contract extending until 2031 with the English club.

The 20-year-old defender joined Bournemouth last summer on loan with an option for a permanent purchase.

Bournemouth permanently signed the player after automatically activating the purchase clause upon reaching the specified number of appearances in the agreement, making Jiménez a permanent player for Bournemouth. This move is part of the club's plan to strengthen its ranks with young talents capable of development and making a significant contribution.

According to the Spanish newspaper "AS," the transfer value of Jiménez to Bournemouth is approximately 20 million euros as a fixed amount, in addition to 5 million in variables. It is noted that Real Madrid will receive 50% of the deal's value (between 10-12 million euros).

This deal confirms Real Madrid's benefit from the policy of selling young talents while retaining a percentage of resale rights, a strategy the club has adopted to ensure future financial returns.
