Shobeir: The Attack on El-Shenawy is Exaggerated
The media personality Ahmed Shobeir believes that the criticism of Mohamed El-Shenawy, Al Ahly's goalkeeper, following the draw with Al Ahly Bank is exaggerated.
The match between Al Ahly and Al Ahly Bank, which took place yesterday, Tuesday, in the 17th round of the Egyptian Premier League, ended in a 1-1 draw.
Shobeir stated on "On Sport" radio: "Al Ahly fans are experiencing a state of shock and anger after the match result, not only because of the draw but also due to the unsatisfactory performance of the team."
He added: "Yesterday, Al-Ahly fans were very angry and upset, not just because of the draw with Al-Ahli Bank, but also due to the poor performance. I believe the criticism directed at El-Shenawy is very intense."
He continued: "Even if you want to criticize, there is a way to do it with love and respect. If you see there is a responsibility, express it kindly."
