The Egyptian Al Ahly club revealed the reasons for excluding its Moroccan player Youssef Belamri from the team list preparing to face Al Ahly Bank, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, as part of the seventeenth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Al-Ahly clarified in an official statement that Belamri's absence was due to his lack of full physical readiness, as he has been away from playing official matches in recent times.

The statement also indicated that the coach, Jess Thorup, held a session with the player, during which he explained his tactical vision, in preparation for gradually getting him ready to participate in the upcoming phase.

Al-Ahly Club announced its signing of Youssef Belamri last month, coming from Raja Club Athletic, in a deal estimated by media reports to be around $515,000.
