Media Controversy After Al-Ahly's Decisions Against Ashour
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour, a former star of Zamalek, commented on the sanctions imposed by Al-Ahly club against the team's star, Emam Ashour.
Imam Ashour was fined one and a half million pounds and suspended for two weeks after failing to travel with the Red Team's delegation to Tanzania for the match against Young Africans in the Champions League.
Al-Ghandour said on Facebook: "Captain Walid Salah El-Din fines Imam Ashour one and a half million and suspends him for two weeks, which means he is not sick and there might be another reason, possibly a professional contract and the value of his current contract with Al-Ahly."
The match between Al Ahly and Young Africans will take place next Saturday at 3:00 PM Cairo time at Aman Stadium.
