The Spanish club Barcelona revealed through its account on the X platform about the nature of the injury of the Spanish star Pedri and the duration of his absence from the team, following the injury he sustained yesterday against Slavia Prague.

In the Catalan club's medical statement, it was stated: "The tests conducted this morning confirmed that first-team player Pedri suffers from an injury to the right hamstring, which he sustained during the match against Slavia Prague yesterday."

The club added regarding the player's absence duration: "The recovery period is expected to take one month."

According to numerous press reports, Pedri will miss the matches against Real Oviedo, Copenhagen, Elche, Albacete, Real Mallorca, and Girona.

The absence of the Spanish star is a significant blow to coach Hans Flick, as the player is considered an important part of the team lineup and one of the indispensable key pillars.
