The Portuguese coach Pedro Gonçalves of the Tanzanian team Young Africans spoke about the difficulty of the upcoming match against Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League.

Al Ahly will face Young Africans next Friday in the third round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

In a press statement, Gonsalves said: "Facing Al Ahly is strong and challenging. We recently played a league match and achieved a significant victory with a score of 6-0. It was important to secure this wide-margin win after the tournament was paused for a month due to Tanzania's participation in the Africa Cup of Nations."

He added, "Facing Al-Ahly will be an extreme challenge. We are not the favorites to win, but it will be a real test, not only against a strong opponent like Al-Ahly but also for ourselves."

He continued: "If we want to be on the same level as Al-Ahly or even better, we need to be courageous and possess the required competence on the field."
