Spanish newspaper Sport reported that Barcelona has finalized its position regarding the future of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, leaving the final decision to the player, but within clear conditions aligned with the club's plans for the upcoming period.

According to the newspaper, the first condition is that Lewandowski accepts a secondary role within the team, given the technical management's direction to grant greater roles to young players and redistribute attacking roles in a way that serves the club's medium-term project.

Barcelona also requires, according to the same report, a significant reduction in the player's salary to match this new role and help alleviate the club's financial burden, especially in light of economic commitments and Financial Fair Play regulations.
