Valencia Wants to Sign Dieng and Requires Al Ahly's Approval
Sports journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed that Spanish club Valencia is refraining from making an official offer to sign Al Ahly player Aliou Dieng, insisting first on obtaining preliminary approval from the Egyptian club for the player's departure.
Al-Ghandour explained during his program "Stad Al-Mahwar" that the expected financial offer from Valencia is approximately $600,000, which includes Dieng waiving his overdue financial dues from Al-Ahly.
He added that Al-Ahly's management is currently studying this offer to determine their final position regarding the player's stay or departure.
Al-Ghandour said that Al-Ahly's management has not yet decided the fate of the deal, due to the significant technical value represented by Aliou Dieng, and the coaching staff's keenness to maintain the stability of the team's core in preparation for the upcoming local and African commitments.
