Ikrami: Petrojet Defender Surpasses Bank Al Ahly Player
Ikrami El-Shahat, former Al Ahly star, believes that Hadi Riyad, defender of Petrojet, is a better option for Al Ahly compared to Amr El-Gazar, the Bank Al Ahly player.
In statements to MBC Masr, Ikrami attributed the delay in the official announcement of Al Ahly's new signings to the negotiation methods of the clubs and pointed out that there is a significant exaggeration in player prices.
He added: "Al Ahly is in strong need of a defender, and as for Amr El-Gazar, he is a good player from the days when he was at Ghazl El Mahalla, and Al Ahly had requested him. However, in my opinion, Hadi Riyad, a defender from Petrojet, is better than him."
Al Ahly faces Pharco today at 4:00 PM Cairo time in the sixth round of the Egypt Cup.
