Shady Mohamed: Torop Refused to Sign Hamad Hamdan
Shady Mohamed, former Al Ahly star, spoke about several important issues concerning the Red Club.
Shady Mohamed said in a television interview: "Al Ahly's management has made strong signings recently and succeeded in acquiring prominent players with clear technical prowess."
He continued: "Yees Torop delivered an outstanding performance with the team, relying on a decentralized style of play, which created a clear harmony among the stars on the field."
He continued: "Achraf Bencharki appeared differently under Torop's leadership, along with Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, especially with their ability to break through. The coach is skilled at utilizing star players and making the most of their capabilities."
He added: "The Dane Jes Thorup was the one who refused to sign Hamad Hamdan because he confirmed that he does not need a player at the moment, given the presence of several outstanding players in the same position."
He continued: "Recently, the tone of deals has emerged as a means to pressure Al-Ahly, and agents and pages aiming for personal gains have promoted this. Al-Ahly must only sign players based on its technical needs."
He concluded: "There are still some positions within the team that need strengthening, foremost among them the spearhead position to increase offensive effectiveness."
