Flavio: I Hope to Be a Coach in Egypt Soon
Amado Flavio, the former star of Al Ahly and the Angola national team, spoke about his desire to work as a coach in Egypt soon.
Flavio said in statements to journalist Ahmed Hassan on the program "Al Captain" on the "dmc" channel: "I miss the Egyptian fans a lot, especially the Al Ahly fans."
He continued: "I miss Al Ahly Club and everyone in it—players, fans, and all those involved. I am happy and glad to be with you, Saqr, because you remind me of many beautiful things and wonderful memories."
He continued: "Everyone in Egypt treated me wonderfully, and I was treated as if I were one of the people of Egypt."
He said: "I hope to be in Egypt soon, and I wish to be a coach in Egypt and experience the atmosphere with the fans. I repeat once again, I miss Al Ahly club and its fans. I used to be at the club and didn’t like leaving every day because I felt it was like my home. Everyone loved me, whether from Al Ahly or Zamalek. Despite the rivalry, there was great respect between us."
