Will Lewandowski Succeed in Convincing Barcelona's Management?
Friday 26-12-2025
The future of Polish star Robert Lewandowski at FC Barcelona has entered a critical phase, with his contract nearing its end and increasing speculation about the possibility of his departure, according to reports from the Spanish newspaper "Sport."

The reports indicated that the next six months will be crucial for the veteran striker's career with the Catalan club, as Lewandowski seeks to convince the management and coach Hans Flick of his ability to continue contributing, despite the strong competition posed by Ferran Torres, as well as the physical challenges related to his age.

Lewandowski's contract with Barcelona ends in the summer of 2026, and so far no agreement has been reached regarding an extension, leaving his future at the club uncertain amid increasing talk of external offers the player has received.

Lewandowski is in his fourth season with Barcelona and is 37 years old. He faces a significant challenge in convincing the management to extend his contract and regain his leadership role, which has diminished this season following the emergence of Ferran Torres as the team's main striker.

Coach Hans Flick hopes that Lewandowski will perform effectively in the upcoming matches in La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup, as well as in the Champions League fixtures against Slavia Prague and Copenhagen, as these games will be crucial in determining his future with the Catalan team.
