Latest Developments in Al Ahly's Negotiations with Swedish Club Jäis to Sign Diabaté
The newspaper "Youm7" revealed the latest developments in Al Ahly's negotiations with the Swedish club Jäis to sign their Ivorian player Ibrahima Diabaté during the upcoming winter transfer window.
The newspaper reported that Al-Ahly's management set a maximum budget of 2 million dollars to sign the player, while the Swedish club Jäis is seeking 3.5 million dollars to release Diabaté's services.
The newspaper added that Diabaté requested an annual salary of no less than 2 million dollars, and Al Ahly is seeking to reduce these demands in order to finalize the deal as quickly as possible, especially since there are other clubs interested in signing the player.
Al Ahly ruled out signing Yazan Al-Naimat, the star of Al-Arabi SC and the Jordan national team, after he recently suffered a cruciate ligament injury.
