Sports journalist Ahmed Shobeir revealed that two Jordanian forwards are on Al Ahly's radar following Yazan Al-Naimat's injury.

Shobeir said in a radio interview: "After Yazan Al-Naimat's injury, if Al Ahly is going to sign a striker from Jordan, the name currently being mentioned is Ali Alwan, a very good player. Some are also recommending Al-Fakhouri's return to Al Ahly; he is a young player nicknamed the 'Messi of Jordan.' He was a youth national team player, played for Al-Hussein Irbid, and has performed very well."

He explained: "The situation with Fakhoury is good, but he plays as a left winger, whereas Ali Alwan is a true striker."

He added: "Ali Alwan, born in 2000, is progressing very well. He has played for Al-Jazeera Jordan, Al-Hussein Irbid, Al-Shamal, Al-Khor in Qatar, Al-Karma in Iraq, and a Malaysian team. His market value is 450,000 euros. He has played 61 international matches and achieved very impressive stats."

He concluded: "Al Ahly has not yet negotiated with Ali Alwan, but he is currently one of the names recommended by the club's agents and scouting committee to strengthen the attack."
