The newspaper explained that the team returned to training on Thursday after coach Hans Flick gave the players a rest day following the defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, as the team arrived very late from London, and the coach preferred the players to rest before resuming intensive training.

The report added that Thursday's training was light for the key players who faced Chelsea, and more intense for the substitute players, while Friday's training focused on preparing for the upcoming match against Alavés.

The report indicated that Fermín López's injury, which will keep him off the field for about two weeks, was joined by Araujo's absence, who did not attend the sports city on Friday morning and did not participate in the preparatory training session for the match. The report confirmed that Araujo attended the sports city on Thursday but did not train with the team. His absence was clearly visible in the commemorative photo for Fermín's 100 matches.
