Sports journalist Ahmed Hassan revealed that Al Ahly is considering a financial revision of Imam Ashour's contract.
Ahmed Hassan said on Facebook: "A source within Al-Ahly: We are considering a financial amendment to Imam Ashour's contract, but only after completing the renewal of contracts for players whose contracts expire at the end of the current season."
Al Ahly is currently preparing to face Morocco's Royal Army team next Friday in the second round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
