Danish coach Jess Thorup, the head coach of Al-Ahly, spoke about the upcoming match against JS Kabylie in the CAF Champions League.

Al Ahly will face JS Kabylie tomorrow, Saturday, at Cairo International Stadium in the first round of the group stage of the Africa Champions League.

Torop said at the pre-match press conference: "Our focus is strong for the match, and we have been working hard recently to prepare well for it. We are starting a new phase in the Africa Cup, and the match holds great importance for us."

He continued: "The team aims to win all the matches, especially those held at our home stadium, and I hope the great Al-Ahly fans will support us tomorrow to achieve victory."

He added: "I always wish for the presence of as many fans as possible, because that gives us great motivation and helps us achieve the best results. Emam Ashour has trained well and his condition has improved significantly. It is important to choose the right time to involve players who have special talent and qualities."

He continued: "I have previously focused on young players before taking over as coach of Al-Ahly. Hamza Abdel Karim is a talented player who trained with the team yesterday. He is a gifted player, and it is important for young talents to showcase their abilities appropriately."

He added: "I know the history of Al Ahly Club and the many pressures that come with working there, but the most important thing is achieving victories, which we are continuously striving for. We evaluate the performance of each player, work in an organized and professional manner, and coordinate with the various national teams. Over time, by working together, we will achieve more championships."

He concluded: "The recent training sessions saw the players present in a positive manner, and there are not many injuries, which confirms that the squad includes players ready to participate in the matches. The selection of players who take part in the games is a matter for the coaching staff."
