Monday 17-11-2025
The Spanish newspaper "Sport" published an extensive report on the list of Barcelona players who scored three goals in a single match over the last 25 years, after Robert Lewandowski added a new hat-trick in his team's victory over Celta Vigo at the Balaídos Stadium, reaching four hat-tricks in his career with the club.

Sport clarified that Lewandowski joined this list with Neymar and Samuel Eto'o, after the Polish striker scored a hat-trick in the Champions League against Viktoria Plzen, in addition to his previous hat-tricks in the league against Valencia and Deportivo Alavés.

The report confirmed that Lionel Messi leads the list undisputedly with 48 hat-tricks, including seven "pokers" (four-goal games) and one "re-poker" (five-goal game), having scored 36 in the league, eight in the Champions League, three in the Copa del Rey, and one in the Spanish Super Cup. Luis Suárez is second with 12 hat-tricks, including three "pokers" against Sporting Gijón, Deportivo, and Valencia.

In third place, Patrick Kluivert and Rivaldo are tied with five hat-tricks each, while Neymar, Eto'o, and Lewandowski each have four. Luis Enrique and Pedro have three hat-tricks each. The list also includes several players who scored two hat-tricks each, such as Arda Turan, Thierry Henry, Ronaldinho, Saviola, as well as current team players Ferran Torres and Raphinha.

The report pointed out that the list of Barcelona hat-trick scorers in the current century also includes players like Seydou Keita, Giovani dos Santos, Cesc Fàbregas, Alexis Sánchez, Cristian Tello, Coutinho, Aubameyang, and the latest, Ferran, who scored a treble against Olympiacos in the Champions League.
