The agent of Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski confirmed that the rumors regarding the player's intention to retire are untrue, explaining in statements reported by the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" that all that is being circulated in this regard is completely unfounded.

Lewandowski is in his final season of the contract he signed with Barcelona in 2022 after his transfer from Bayern Munich, with no updates regarding the renewal of his contract or his future with the Catalan club.

His agent stated: "The information that says Lewandowski is thinking about retirement is incorrect, and there are no decisions regarding his future yet," confirming that the talk of his retirement in the event of not renewing his contract has no basis in reality.

The Polish striker is experiencing a remarkable period, having scored a hat-trick in Barcelona's last match against Celta Vigo at the Balaídos Stadium, raising his tally to 108 goals with the team, and he is currently in second place in the Spanish league's top scorers list with 7 goals, tied with Julian Alvarez, behind Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid.

According to what was reported by "Mundo Deportivo", those close to the player clarified that the idea of retirement is not currently on Lewandowski's mind, as he continues to focus on his career with Barcelona.
