Lewandowski Awaits Barcelona's Offer Before Making Future Decisions
Thursday 06-11-2025
Polish striker Robert Lewandowski confirmed that he will not make any decisions regarding his future until he knows Barcelona's offer, despite his contract with the team ending on June 30, 2026, according to the Spanish newspaper "Sport."

Lewandowski started the 2025/2026 season difficultly, as he suffered from two muscle injuries that prevented him from participating in the first matches and from facing the Clasico at the Santiago Bernabéu. Having played only 447 minutes in 10 matches, he scored just four goals at the beginning of his final season with the Catalan team.

Lewandowski said during the press conference before the match between Barcelona and Club Brugge in the Champions League: "I don't feel rushed; the most important thing is to know how I feel at the end of the season. I'll see what I do with my life later, but for now, I'm focused on scoring goals and winning titles with the team."

The 37-year-old player added that he is handling the situation with maturity and calmness.

The report indicated that the player will remain focused on his performance with Barcelona before looking for any new team, knowing that he will be free to negotiate with other clubs starting January 1, 2026. The Spanish newspaper "Sport" clarified that both parties want to see through the season before making any decisions regarding contract renewal or transfer, leaving all options open for now.
