Turup Takes Responsibility for Al Ahly's Draw with Al Masry
Yassir Turup, the coach of Al Ahly, confirmed that he takes responsibility for the result of his team's match against Al Masry in the league.
Al Ahly drew 0-0 with Al Masry in a match held on Sunday evening during the 13th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Turup said in the press conference after the match: "We did everything in the match, but we were not successful in scoring goals, and we wasted many opportunities.. I take responsibility for the result, and we will work on correcting the mistakes and reaching the best we can in the coming period."
He added: "The players had many attempts, and we will work on building more confidence among everyone, and over time, things will improve significantly, and the opportunities will turn into goals."
Turup pointed out that Ahmed Sayed Zizo gave everything he had during the match.
He concluded: "The players succeeded in reaching the opponent's goal and we wasted 5 clear chances, which reflects the quality of the players, and what remains is just to finish these chances better, which is what we are currently working on."
