Walid Salah El-Din, the football director of Al Ahly club, responded to rumors regarding the release of Moroccan defender Ashraf Dari during the upcoming January transfer window.

Walid Salah El-Din stated in his remarks: "What is being said about Ashraf Dari's future is not true at all, and it is merely journalistic speculation."

He added: "Ashraf Dari is still injured and will return after recovering from his injury. We trust him; he is a strong player in his position and is always called up to his national team."

He continued: "I hope that Dari returns so that the team can benefit from him in the upcoming matches, and any discussions circulating about the departure of any player in January are premature."

He concluded: "It is also not true what is being said about coach Turab's request to strengthen specific positions, and we have not entered into negotiations with any players at this time."
