Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' revealed that FC Barcelona is experiencing one of its toughest periods this season under the management of German coach Hans Flick, following a series of negative results during the current month of October.

According to the newspaper, Barcelona has suffered three defeats in five matches this month against Paris Saint-Germain, Sevilla, and Real Madrid, with only two victories against Girona and Real Sociedad, making the tally worse than what the team experienced in the Black November of 2024.

During the same period last season, the team had lost only two matches and drawn one out of six, achieving three victories against Espanyol, Red Star, and Brest, reflecting a clear decline in performance and results this season.

The newspaper pointed out that Barcelona's current crisis is not limited to the numbers but extends to the psychological, tactical, and physical aspects, as it seems that the team has lost the confidence and sharpness that characterized it last season, with the effectiveness of some players declining due to injuries and a drop in form.

Nevertheless, 'Mundo Deportivo' confirmed that Flick maintains his calm and confidence in overcoming this difficult phase, especially under the pressure of matches and limited available options, noting that the German coach believes in the team's ability to regain its balance as it did last season when it turned the crisis into a launching point towards titles.

The report emphasized that titles are not decided in October or November, but this period could be crucial in determining the features of what Barcelona will witness in the second half of the season.
