The media figure Ahmed Shobeir commented on the performance of Mohamed Magdy Afsha, the star of Al Ahly, against Petrojet in yesterday's match on Wednesday in the league.
The match between Al Ahly and Petrojet ended in a positive draw with a score of 1-1, which took place in the 12th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Afsha did not perform well in the Petrojet match and did not deliver any beautiful touches or influence the outcome in favor of Al Ahly.
Shobeir said in radio statements: "Yesterday was tough for me, Afsha, poor boy, has been away from the field for a while, so you feel yesterday that he is not Afsha at all, and even the match commentator Ayman Al-Kashef said yesterday that Afsha is not Afsha at all, and he analyzed it and said that being away from matches and participation affected his performance."
He added: "Being away from the field is a very big problem for players, but you'll come back, Afsha, little by little, it's okay, and also Mohamed Shahat is returning after injury, so the Zamalek fans should calm down a bit, and people should ease up on the players who have been away from the field."
