Barcelona announced on its official website the injury of the outstanding Spanish star Pedri, who suffered a tear in the distal biceps femoris muscle in his left thigh.

The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" revealed that the Spanish star Pedri has joined the list of injured players at Barcelona after sustaining a new muscle injury following his participation in the Clasico against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

The newspaper explained that Pedri, who was sent off in the final minutes of the match after receiving two yellow cards, will be sidelined until after the international break scheduled for mid-November, meaning he will not participate in the next three matches against Elche, Club Brugge, and Celta Vigo.

With Pedri's absence, the number of injured players in Barcelona has risen to eight, including: Lewandowski, Raphinha, Dani Olmo, Juan Garcia, Christensen, Gavi, and Ter Stegen.

The newspaper noted that Polish striker Robert Lewandowski may return to action after recovering from his injury, as he participated in team training and is expected to get minutes against Elche after missing the last three matches.

Dani Olmo and Juan Garcia have also begun fieldwork as part of their recovery stages, but the club is not rushing their return to the pitch, and Raphinha is also expected to return after the international break, following the injury he sustained against Oviedo last September.
