Rafinha and Torres' Status for the Olympiacos Match
Monday 20-10-2025
The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' reported that the duo Ferran Torres and Rafinha missed FC Barcelona's training this Monday morning, in preparation for the match against Greek Olympiacos in the third round of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, scheduled to take place on Tuesday evening at the Montjuïc Stadium.

The newspaper clarified that Ferran Torres is still suffering from a muscle injury sustained during the recent international break, while Rafinha continues with his rehabilitation program to catch up with the upcoming Clasico match against Real Madrid scheduled for next Sunday.

Both players remain on the injury list, which also includes Lewandowski, Dani Olmo, Juan Garcia, Gavi, and Ter Stegen, making the task of coach Hans Flick more challenging amid the pressure of matches.

The newspaper noted that Flick has called upon several players from the reserve team, including Toni Fernandez, who made his debut in La Liga against Girona, along with a group of other young talents to compensate for the absences.

Barcelona hopes to regain its European balance after losing 2-1 to Paris Saint-Germain, while aiming to secure a victory over Olympiacos and continue to compete strongly in the Champions League.
