Reasons for Al Ahly's Rejection of Contracting with Maile and Ibrahim Adel
Egyptian media reports have revealed the reasons behind Al Ahly officials' refusal to contract with the duo Ibrahim Adel, the Al-Jazira player, and Congolese striker Viston Maile from Pyramids FC during the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to the reports, the Al Ahly management rejected the contract with Ibrahim Adel next January due to the strong relationship between Pyramids and Al-Jazira.
The sources also pointed out that another reason behind Al Ahly's reluctance to enter the race for Ibrahim Adel's contract is the penalty clause in his contract, estimated at 4 million dollars, and his hefty salary of 3.5 million dollars.
The sources confirmed that Al Ahly's management is not considering the inclusion of Viston Maile due to Pyramids' insistence on his continuity, in addition to his age, which is 31 years.
