According to reports, Ashraf Ben Sharqi did not participate in the team's training due to his delayed return from Morocco after playing with the second national team during the international break.
Sources indicated that the decision to rest Ben Sharqi was made to prepare him for the upcoming match against Burundi's Eaglets, scheduled for next Saturday in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.
It has been decided that Al Ahly will travel tomorrow, Thursday, to Burundi on a private jet in preparation for the match against Eaglets.
