The Brazilian star Rafinha continues to prove his importance within the ranks of Barcelona, especially as the team suffers from a series of injuries affecting several of its front-line players, such as Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Fermín López, and now Dani Olmo.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Rafinha's value is increasing thanks to his versatility and ability to play in multiple attacking positions. Although his best version usually appears when he starts from the left side, freely penetrating towards the center, coach Hans Flick has benefited from his tactical flexibility to occupy different attacking roles.

The newspaper explained that Flick used Rafinha on the right side during Lamine Yamal's absence, which is his natural position before joining Barcelona. He excelled there previously during the 2022/2023 season when Ousmane Dembélé was absent. The German coach also relied on him this season in the playmaker position during the match against Levante (3-2), in light of Olmo's absence and Fermín's gradual return.

The same source confirmed that Flick is aware of Rafinha's physical capabilities and his vital role in achieving the attacking balance for the Catalan team, which is still searching for the stability and cohesion required at the start of the season.
