The management of Al Ahly Club has decided to take action regarding Hussein El Shahat, the team's winger, following his outstanding performance against Zamalek in the summit match held as part of the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Al Ahly managed to turn a one-goal deficit into a 2-1 victory thanks to Hussein El Shahat, who scored a goal and caused a penalty successfully converted by Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet.

According to media sources, Al Ahly's management rejected an offer from a Libyan club regarding Hussein El Shahat in recent days, and there is an intention to renew his contract for two seasons instead of just one.

Reports indicate that the Libyan offer was close to one million dollars, but Al Ahly's management rejected it, fully convinced of Hussein El Shahat's value, who has proven to be a decisive and talented player.

Al Ahly is reportedly working to finalize the issue of keeping El Shahat, whose contract with the Red Castle ends at the end of the current season 2025-26.
