Saturday 27-09-2025
Sources have revealed that Mahmoud Khatib, the president of Al-Ahly Club, has decided to reverse his earlier decision not to participate in the elections scheduled for October 30 and 31.

According to reports, Mahmoud Khatib will run for the Al-Ahly elections and will include in his list both Sayed Abdel Hafiz, Ibrahim Al-Amari Farouk, and Ahmed Hossam Awad in the upcoming period.

The sources indicated that Khatib, nicknamed "Bebo," has not yet decided on the positions of deputy and treasurer in his electoral list due to the unclear situation regarding Yassin Mansour.

It is worth mentioning that Mahmoud Khatib had previously announced that he would not run for the presidency of Al-Ahly for a third consecutive term due to health issues.
