Al Ahly's Position on Renewing Imam Ashour's Contract
Media figure Ahmed Shobir confirmed that Imam Ashour, the star of Al Ahly, accepted his club's decision to halt negotiations regarding the renewal of his contract.
Shobir stated during his radio program: "Al Ahly had indeed opened the file to amend Imam Ashour's contract earlier, but the negotiations have currently stopped, and the player accepted the management's decision with an open heart without any objections."
He added: "Imam Ashour is currently focusing on regaining his physical fitness after recovering from Virus A, and he is adhering to a special diet program, along with strict medical instructions that have reached the extent of preventing him from using his phone or communicating with his teammates in a normal manner."
Al Ahly achieved a victory over Haras El Hodood with a score of 3-2 in the eighth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
