The report noted that Ferran reshared the announcement of Pedri's final ranking on his Instagram stories, accompanied by two emoticons expressing shock and frustration. This comes after the two players spent a day together with members of their shared agency and relatives before the results were announced.

AS Spain confirmed that both players have been performing excellently at the start of this season, both with Barcelona and the Spanish national team.

Ferran has scored four goals and provided one assist in five league matches, while Pedri continues to shine in terms of leadership and performance level, which may enhance his position in future editions of the Ballon d'Or.
