The Premier League has revealed the list of players nominated for the Best Player award in Round Five of the 2025/2026 season, which featured intense competitions that began on Saturday and concluded last night.

Round Five saw Liverpool continue its impressive form with a fifth consecutive victory against Everton, winning 2-1, while Arsenal drew with Manchester City 1-1, and Chelsea lost to Manchester United 2-1. The match between Tottenham and Brighton ended in a 2-2 draw.

Despite Mohamed Salah's participation in the Merseyside derby and his creation of a fantastic goal, he was not included in the list of nominees.
